If you donate to foodbank, do you know what happens to the item after it’s purchased?
This film explains the whole process – from choosing the item, to donating, a volunteer driver collects and takes the items back to the warehouse, it’s weighed in and put away in date order then packed into a nutritionally balanced food parcel in line with Trussell Trust guidelines. Another volunteer delivers pre-packed food parcels to a distribution centre and it’s collected by an individual or family in need.
